Yang Bay

What: Yang Bay is the largest waterfall in a valley formed by three mountains: Yang Bay, Yang Khang, and Hocho. To reach Yang Bay, follow road 23/10 through Diên Khánh town, continue along National Highway 1A towards HCMC until you reach Lùng Bridge (approximately 13km), then turn right onto the road to Đà Lạt (about 17km). Finally, turn left and continue straight for about 12km until you reach Yang Bay.
Suối Mấu
For: A peaceful picnic and a refreshing swim in a pristine setting.
What: Suối Mấu features a 30m water column divided into four floors, surrounded by cliffs adorned with lush foliage and moss.
Where: Located about 60 km from Nha Trang city in Khánh Thượng commune, Khánh Vĩnh, Khánh Hòa province.
Situated at an elevation of 700-800m above sea level, Suối Mấu is known as the “first waterfall” in the province. Thạch Lâm Stream

What: Pools and rapids in a waterpark.
Where: Located in Suối Cát, Cam Lâm, Khánh Hòa, approximately 20 km from Nha Trang.
Thạch Lâm Stream holds a special place in Nha Trang’s history. The late Alexandre Yersin, a prominent Swiss-French physician and explorer, was the first to open a route to this stream of falls. Yersin, known for his contributions to medical science, spent a significant portion of his life in Vietnam.

Tà Gụ Waterfall

What: A 40m-high waterfall with two captivating levels.
Where: Located in the Sơn Hiệp commune, along the Khánh Sơn mountain pass.
Tà Gụ Waterfall, also known as the “Ivory Waterfall,” captivates visitors with its two steady flows resembling gleaming white elephant-ivory tusks. Legend has it that these falls formed from the tears shed by an elephant’s grieving mother after a battle between a python and her baby on the cliffs. Another story tells of a faery who turned into the waterfall while taking her time to wash her hair in the stream, unable to return to the sky as the door closed.
Since Tà Gụ Waterfall remains relatively unknown, its natural beauty remains untouched. The hike to the falls can be a bit challenging, with slippery rocks, streams to cross, and tree roots to hold onto for support. As such, it is not recommended for elderly travelers.
To reach Tà Gụ Waterfall, head to To Hop town in Lâm Đồng province from Nha Trang. Take provincial road 9 to Sơn Hiệp commune. A 200m walk will lead you to the main waterfall, while another 200m will take you to the top.
