Legend has it that in their fascination with the beauty of the earth, the fairies forgot their duty to return to heaven. Their negligence angered the gods, and Thien Loi was tasked with finding and punishing them. Seeking refuge, the fairies took shelter in a cave situated 200 meters above sea level. However, even this sanctuary could not protect them from Thien Loi’s wrath. He descended upon the mountain, shattering a portion of it into fragments. Realizing their fate was sealed and that their father would never forgive them, the three fairies made a fateful decision. They leaped off the precipice, and the river carried their lifeless bodies downstream to what is now known as Bao Nhai district.

What To See and Do
Inside the Cave of Fairies, the tranquil Stream of Fairies cascades down like a flowing silk ribbon. Over time, the water has skillfully sculpted the stones within the cave, giving rise to an assortment of breathtaking and artistic formations. Discover an elephant drinking water, a soaring eagle, and other fascinating creations. Journey deeper into the cave, and you’ll encounter a vast cavern where stones rest upon one another, forming a mesmerizing maze. Keep walking for 500 meters, and you’ll be greeted by shimmering stalactite towers of various sizes, reflecting the ethereal light that seeps in from the outside. After exploring the cave, take a dip in the warm embrace of Floral Island, a small island nestled beside the mountain, basking in the glorious sunshine.
