Nature’s Masterpiece
At the southwest end of Ghenh Rang, you’ll find towering mountains that gracefully meet the vast ocean. From these peaks, you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of nature’s beauty. Look out for the Lion’s Head rock, as it seemingly leaps out of the water, defying gravity. Keep an eye out for the silent Waiting Statue, the protective Lying Elephant and Bear rocks that stand guard over the beaches, and the seemingly weightless yet resilient Chong Islet, even during the most turbulent storms.
Queen Beach: A Serene Oasis
On the northeast side of Ghenh Rang lies a tranquil ocean, gently caressing the white sandbanks. This picturesque beach, cherished for its beauty and tranquility, has been a favorite spot for relaxation for many years. Back in 1927, the last king of Vietnam, Bao Dai, constructed a villa where his beloved wife, Queen Nam Phuong, could find solace. Queen Beach, as it is now affectionately known, was exclusively reserved for the queen and her family. Look down from the mountaintop, and you’ll witness a mesmerizing sight – Queen Beach appears as a vast expanse of turquoise, adorned with scattered jade and granite stones. That’s why, in addition to its royal title, the locals also refer to it as “Egg Stone” beach.
