The Splendor of Cao Daism Teachings
The Cao Dai Holysee is not just an ordinary place of worship; it is a testament to the splendor and grandeur of Cao Daism. Standing in Hoa Thanh District, a mere 5 kilometers southeast of Tay Ninh City, the Cao Dai Great Temple mesmerizes visitors with its architectural brilliance. The temple’s construction began in 1933 and was only completed in 1955. Spanning an impressive 5600 square meters, the temple boasts a length of 140 meters and a width of 40 meters. It comprises four towers, namely Tam Dai, Hiep Thien Dai, Cuu Trung Dai, and Bat Quai Dai. Despite the vibrant colors that adorn both the interior and exterior, an air of holiness and sanctity permeates every corner of the temple. Stepping inside this magnificent structure, visitors are greeted by a colonnaded hall and a massive sanctuary. The columns are adorned with intricately designed dragon symbols, painted in an array of hues including white, red, pink, and blue. Above, a dome divides the main hall into nine sections, representing heaven and painted to resemble a star-filled night sky. Resting on a colossal blue globe, the Divine Eye, the official symbol of Cao Daism, gazes down upon all who enter.
